John Carroll Football to Play Wisconsin-Oshkosh in Div. III National Semifinal

John Carroll University's Cinderella run through the NCAA Division III football playoffs continues on Saturday when the Blue Streaks travel to Oshkosh, Wisconsin to take on the division's number one ranked team, Wisconsin-Oshkosh, in the playoff semifinals.

The Streaks knocked off Wisconsin-Whitewater on Saturday in an upset. Whitewater has long been a powerhouse in Division III football and frequently battles Ohio's Mount Union for the national title. John Carroll also knocked off Mount Union in the last game of the regular season.

The Blue Streaks played Oshkosh earlier this year and lost 33-14. It was John Carroll's only loss this season. This is JCU's second time in the national semifinals and matches the deepest playoff run in team history. The team last appeared in the semis in 2002.
