Ohio Sen. Nina Turner To Make Announcement Today
Beachwood's representative to the Ohio Senate may announce bid for Secretary of State
Ohio Senator Nina Turner (D — Cleveland) has scheduled a press conference for Monday at 9 a.m. for a "special announcement."
A press release announcing the conference notes that Mayor Frank Jackson, State Representative Nickie Antonio and Congresswoman Marcia Fudge will attend the conference.
Turner represents District 25, which includes Beachwood and Shaker Heights. She has been preparing to bid for the Ohio Secretary of State seat, The Plain Dealer reports.
