Ohio Woman Who Robbed Same Store Twice Sentenced To Prison
The woman robbed the Cleveland Consignment Shoppe on two consecutive days in November. Now she'll spend nine years in prison.
WOODMERE, OH — A Maple Heights woman who twice robbed the same store on Chagrin Boulevard, for two straight days, was sentenced to more than nine years in prison this week. The woman used a gun to rob the store the second time, the Department of Justice said.
Rachellette McKissack, 26, from Maple Heights, was sentenced to 114 months in federal prison. She previously pleaded guilty to two counts of Hobbs Act robbery and one count of using a firearm during a crime of violence.
“For two consecutive days, this defendant terrorized people who were simply going about their day,” U.S. Attorney Justin Herdman said. “We will pursue a long prison sentence for anyone who uses a firearm during a robbery.”

McKissack robbed the Cleveland Consignment Shoppe, 28790 Chagrin Boulevard in Woodmere, on November 15, 2018, court documents said. She returned the next day, November 16, with a gun, and robbed the store again.
When the robberies initially happened, the FBI said their suspect had gotten away with numerous valuable items during her second robbery. Investigators said staff at the store were extremely frightened of the armed woman.
