UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, OH — Gabby Douglas, two-time Olympic gold medalist, will serve as the keynote speaker for John Carroll University's second-annual Veale Entrepreneurship Forum "Dare to Dream Retreat."

The free event is an immersion experience for high school girls across Northeast Ohio. The program will be held November 18, 2019 in the Ohio Theater at Playhouse Square. Beyond the speech from Douglas, Natalie Herbick, from Fox 8, will be the master of ceremonies.

“Dare to Dream Retreat is meant to instill confidence, empower vulnerability, and enable young women to take one step towards their dreams,” said Doan Winkel, John J. Kahl, Sr. Chair in Entrepreneurship and Director, Muldoon Center for Entrepreneurship, John Carroll University. "The day will be filled with motivational speakers, experiential activities, group problem-solving sessions, and more. We want every young woman that experiences the retreat to walk away feeling like they can accomplish anything!”
