POLL: How Early is Too Early for Black Friday?

More than 187,000 have signed a petition started by a Nebraska  employee on Change.orgto "save Thanksgiving" by having Black Friday sales start at 5 a.m. rather than at midnight.

Anthony Hardwick said a midnight opening robs employees of time off with their families on Thanksgiving.

That started 26 other campaigns on Change.org to get , , Macy's and other stores to change their midnight openings, said Benjamin Joffe-Walt, director of communications for Change.org.
