Richmond Road Construction Starts April 23

Crews will be replacing a gas main on a portion of the street, which will impact traffic flow.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Two north bound lanes on Richmond Road are set to be closed while crews from Dominion East Ohio Gas replace a gas main. The construction started on Ramsay Road and will now move north to Richmond, between Fairmount Boulevard and Cedar Road.

The construction zone will shift onto Richmond on Monday, April 23. Work in the area is expected to continue through the end of the summer, according to the city of Beachwood's Facebook page.

"Both north bound lanes will be closed and one lane in each direction will be open on the west side of the road while the work zone transition is made. Traffic will be maintained, but motorists should expect delays. This part of the project is expected to be completed by May 4th," the city said in a post.
