Richmond Road Construction Starts In Early June In Beachwood
The city said it will try to limit the inconvenience to residents and commuters, but also asked for patience.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Richmond Road will be under construction starting in early June, the city said on Facebook. In a social media post, the city said it will try to limit the inconvenience to residents, but asked for patience.
The northbound lanes of Richmond will be replaced, starting between the Shakers and then from Shaker Boulevard to South Woodland and finally South Woodland to Chagrin. The intersections of Chagrin-Richmond and South Woodland-Richmond will not be impacted.
Traffic will be maintained in one lane in each direction at all times, the city said. Barricades, flaggers and signs will be posted in the construction zone.

Residents and commuters are asked to build a few extra minutes into their commute because of the construction and to approach the area with caution.
Emergency vehicles will have access to both residences and businesses in the area at all time, the city assured its residents.

Additionally, businesses and homes in the area should be getting a letter from the city with additional details on the construction.
