Shooting At Beachwood Place Mall, 1 Hurt

BEACHWOOD, OH — A man was shot near Saks Fifth Avenue at Beachwood Place Mall on Friday evening, police announced.

The shooting happened at 5:10 on July 3. Callers reported hearing gunfire outside of the mall and police rushed to the shopping complex.

When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the leg, News 5 reported. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The victim and the shooter may have known each other, police said. The shooting was not believed to be random, but an isolated incident, police said.
