Two People Arrested, Cited For Selling Weed At Beachwood Mall
Plus, a stolen car is found outside a local hotel and shoplifters get caught in the act.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Friday was a busy day at Beachwood Place Mall for police. Two men were arrested for trafficking marijuana at Saks Fifth Avenue. A third man was issued a citation for possession of marijuana.
On top of that, police dealt with shoplifters and disturbances throughout the mall. See notable incidents from this past weekend below.
Expired License Plates, Nov. 30 — Police pulled over a car with expired license plates at approximately 1:32 a.m. on Friday. The driver had an arrest warrant from Garfield Heights Police and was taken into custody.

Suspicion, Nov. 30 — A man was arrested for causing a disturbance at Beachwood Place Mall on Friday afternoon. The man allegedly lied to officers and is being charged with falsification. The man also had an active warrant for his arrest.
Shoplifting, Nov. 30 — Two women were arrested for shoplifting merchandise from Sephora at Beachwood Place Mall on Friday. One woman stole $163 of merchandise, the other stole $148.

Theft from Building, Nov. 30 — Someone stole a cell phone from a person at Fairfield Inn.
OVI, Dec. 1 — A little before 2 a.m. police stopped a car on Harvard Road for failing to maintain its lane. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested.
Stopping After Accident, Dec. 1 — After being involved in a car accident, a driver got in their car and left the scene. Police tracked the vehicle down and arrested the driver. The driver faces charges for driving under the influence of drugs, police said.
Vehicle Recover, Dec. 2 — Police found a stolen car parked in the Embassy Suites lot. The car was towed from the scene, police said.
