Brecksville-Broadview Heights Students Finalists in Essay Contest

Two students from Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School are among the 10 finalists in the “Stop the Hate” contest. 

Brecksville students Biar Akar, a senior, and junior Courtney Schmidt landed among the 10 finalists for their essays to stop hatred, as part of the 5^th annual Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage Stop the Hate: Youth Speak Out! contest.

GRAND SCHOLARSHIP WINNER ($50,000 Scholarship)

THIRD PLACE ($15,000 Scholarship)
