The victim, who was treated at Akron General after being taken there by an ambulance, told police he accidentally bumped into Jones while walking on Frederick Boulevard near Hayden Avenue.

The two argued, grappled with each other on the ground briefly, then separated and walked away from each other, the NEOMG report said, quoting a police report. It was only at this point that the 46-year-old man realized he had been stabbed three times in the mid-section and once in his wrist.
