Five Events You Should Know About This Week in Brecksville

Plenty of events happening around town. Here are five of 'em.

Here are few of the happenings around Brecksville this week.

  1. Brecksville Board of Zoning Appeals: The meeting is slated to take place at Brecksville City Hall at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
  2. Rush For A Cause: Family Sports Blitz: The nonprofit organization aiding severely injured student athletes will be holding a fundraiser at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School on Aug. 17.  It’s an event that’s fun for the whole family and includes a cheerleading clinic for ages pre-k and up.   3. Brecksville Advisory Board, Department of Human Services meeting is slated to take place at the Human Services Center at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
  4. Ohio Connections Academy Information Session: Representatives from Ohio Connections Academy, a leading e-school serving students in grades K-12 from across Ohio, will host an information session on Tuesday, August 13th in Independence to educate prospective parents and students about the virtual public school. The event is slated to take place Indiana Wesleyan University Cleveland in Independence at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 13. 
  5. The city’s telecommunications commission is slated to meet in the Community Room at Brecksville City Hall at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
