Heritage Concert Series in CVNP

Heritage Concert Series provides range of music

The Cuyahoga Valley Heritage Series is presented by the National Park Service and the Conservancy to celebrate the cultural legacy of the Cuyahoga Valley. This concert series runs from October to May. Admission is $17 for general public, $12 for Conservancy members, and $5 for children ages 3-12 (unless listed otherwise). Concerts begin at 8 PM at Happy Days Lodge, 500 W. Streetsboro Road (SR 303), Peninsula 44264. For tickets, visit www.conservancyforcvnp.org/experience-your-park/concerts.

"Sublime Music for a Summer Evening" is set for 8PM July 14 at Happy Days Lodge, 500 W. Streetsboro Road, Peninsula, OH 44264. Cleveland Orchestra violinist Isabel Trautwein has recruited several of her string-playing colleagues from this illustrious ensemble to present works by Mozart and Schubert. Ms. Trautwein will be joined by violist Yu Jin and cellists Tanya Ell and Paul Kushious.

"The Portersharks" will perform at 8PM Aug. 4. Formed in the late 1980s by Bill Chambers and Francis Quinn, the Portersharks are not your average run-of-the-mill Irish band. The group’s goal is to combine the best of Irish traditional music with folk songs, constantly building their repertoire and creating something for everyone in the audience.
