Lyceum Speaker Series: The Music of Birds and Frogs on March 4th

Fostering fresh perspectives and lasting connections, Cuyahoga Valley Institute's Lyceum series presents in-depth and engaging content.

Did you know that some complex bird songs contain more than 80 notes per second? Composer and naturalist Lisa Rainsong will provide insight and meaning to the myriad of bird songs we hear every day, and will teach listeners to identify some basic calls by ear. She will also give a timely presentation on frog calls in early springtime.

Fostering fresh perspectives and lasting connections, Cuyahoga Valley Institute’s Lyceum series presents in-depth and engaging content from experts in history, adventure, and the natural world. Presented by the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park; Conservancy members can purchase all four lectures for $20!

Admission: $6 adults, $3 children ages 3 – 12. General seating. Advance sales are available by calling 330-657-2909, option 4. You can also purchase online at conservancyforcvnp.org.
