Officers Find Oxycontin, Two Arrested Following Traffic Stop

The following information was supplied by the Brecksville Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 29-year-old Cleveland man and a 29-year-old Wadsworth man each face drug charges, following a traffic stop Interstate 77 at around 7:40 p.m. June 12.

As officer frisked the men they found marijuana. A search of the car turned up more marijuana, drug paraphernalia and two small jars containing oxycontin. 

Brecksville Police collected several drug paraphernalia items — including rolling papers and digital scales —into evidence.

The vehicle was towed and impounded, and the men were scheduled to appear in court.

A 41-year-old Brecksville woman was charged with drunken driving following a traffic stop on Brecksville Road at 11:30 p.m. June 7.
