Police Investigating Suspected Thefts From Carriage Hill Condos
The following information was supplied by the Brecksville Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Theft: Several items were inventoried and taken into evidence after police began an investigation of thefts from the Carriage Hill condos on Sept. 27. A Brroadview Heights woman told officers she believes her husband and another man were stealing a number of items, including stereo speakers and video game equipment. Police are investigating.
Drunken driving: A 40-year-old Akron woman was arrested and charged with drunken driving following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 3:30 a.m. Sept. 28. She was nearly twice the legal limit. She was also charged with speeding and weaving.Â
