Pro Futsal Tournament - Cleveland To Host Historic Event!
Pro indoor soccer returns to Cleveland in the form of the international game of futsal! 16 Games, 8 Teams, 5 Countries, 2 Days, 1-Ticket
Ohio North Futsal and the Ohio Youth Soccer Association (North) have collaborated with US Soccer and the countries of Canada, Guadeloupe, Cuba and Suriname to bring together 8 international teams and 6 of the finest FIFA Futsal Referees for the inaugural, "Futsal Copa North America" men's professional futsal tournament to be held at Cleveland State University April 14-16.
The weekend will provide 2 social events, a Friday evening meet and greet at Lago in the flats and a Saturday evening banquet at Hofbrauhaus Cleveland. In addition and a futsal referee instructional seminar lead by FIFA's North American Futsal Referee Instructor Ed Marco will be held at the Aloft Cleveland Downtown Hotel from 6-9:00pm Friday evening to help educate and better inform our state associations futsal officials.
Highlighting the weekend of events are the 16 games which will be played over the 2 days in the Woodling and Recreation Center Gymnasiums at Cleveland State University. The teams include the reigning Canadian and American champions, Toronto United & Safira respectively, FAX Futsal from the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe and the winners and runner up of the Great Lakes Regional Championship Columbus Futsal and ABK Futsal, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Games will start on both courts at 10am, 12noon, 2pm and 4pm Saturday. The matches continue on Easter Sunday at 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm and the championship match at 4pm. Ample parking is available at the CSU EG (East Garage) off Chester.
Tickets are $10 for the entire weekend of 16 games. All are welcome to the 7:30pm Friday night Meet & Greet at Lago which includes light Hors D'oeuvres, soft drinks and Marzen draft beer for only $10/person. The 7:30pm Saturday evening banquet is also open to the public for $30/person.
