Should Sharpshooters Control Deer Population in Cuyahoga Valley National Park?

Sharpshooters are being considered as a possible solution to deer overpopulation in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, The Plain Dealer reports.

The park is seeking public input on a plan to reduce the population of deer in the park that involves first shooting deer, then using a fence and, when the technology is perfected, using contraception.

The plan in its entirety is available to the public and the park is accepting feedback until Sept. 24.

Read the plan and find out how to give feedback at the park's website.
