On Thursday, October 26, the St. Basil Campus of St. Michael School hosted their annual Fall Open House for current and potential families. The St. Basil campus offers a Catholic elementary education for children in Preschool (3 and 4-year-old program), Jr. Kindergarten (young 5's), Kindergarten, and First Grade. This year, families enjoyed a fun safari theme as they toured the building and had their questions answered about St. Michael School. The night included raffles, prizes, games and a photo opportunity in the school's "safari" jeep. For more information about the programs offered at the St. Basil campus, please call 440-717-0398.
For families who were not able to attend the Fall Open House, the school is offering "Walk through Wednesdays" from 9:30-11am on November 29, February 28 and March 14. Classroom observations and grade level presentations will be given for both the parents and children. Please RSVP by the Friday before to 440-717-0398.

Community service opportunities are abundant beginning with our youngest learners at the St. Basil Campus. The Kiwanis K-Kids program is strong and vibrant, as are the many other clubs and extracurricular activities offered at all grade levels.
"We chose St. Michael School for our daughter because it offers a faith-based education and a Catholic school where she could receive her sacraments," said Jim and Holly Frank. "We are proud of the small class sizes, individual attention from teachers who care, respectful students and great families, and the PTU and CYO sports program."

The Huggins family also feels that St. Michael School has made a difference for both of their children. “The education they are receiving is ‘state of the art,’ challenging and definitely what they need to succeed and become productive citizens,” said Melanie and Simpson Huggins. “The teachers are wonderful to work with and our sons are making new friends in their classes every day.” While Melanie says they are still relatively new to the St. Michael family, they are proud to say that from the first day of school, they have been welcomed by everyone with open arms. “There is a strong sense of family values at SMS that my husband and I try to instill in our boys every day,” said Melanie. “St. Michael School is the right fit for our boys with excellent academics and strong sense of family.”
