St. Michael School Seventh Grade Students Demonstrate STEM Project to St. Basil the Great’s Pastor Fr. Walt Jenne

St. Michael School students explain energy with roller coaster STEM projects.

St. Michael School seventh grade students demonstrated their knowledge of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) by building roller coasters. Students in sixth grade and younger were invited to see the roller coaster projects and watch a demonstration of how energy works. This helped the seventh graders work on their presentation skills as well.

St. Basil the Great Pastor Fr. Walt Jenne also stopped by the seventh grade class to see a demonstration of their hard work. He visits the class frequently, as do the other priests of both St. Basil the Great and St. Michael Parishes, to see what students are learning and most importantly, teach religion classes.
