Suspected Drunk Driver Crashes Through Flower Garden
The following information was supplied by the Brecksville Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Drunken driver? Police a received a report of a suspected drunk driver who plowed through a flower and shrub garden adjacent to the Pepper Mill restaurant on Mill Road at around 10 p.m. Oct. 1. The vehicle took off, leaving some of the broken car parts in the bushes. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
Pot possession: A 32-year-old Akron man was charged with possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 12:30 a.m. Oct. 5. During the traffic stop, officers also found that he had a warrant out for his arrest from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Hypodermic needle found: A 29-year-old Medina woman was charged with possession of drug instruments after officers found a syringe — believed to be used for injecting heroin — following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 11:15 p.m. Oct. 5.

Warrant: A 37-year-old Norton man was taken into custody after officers learned he had a warrant our for his arrest following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 7:15 p.m.
