CINCINNATI, OH -- The nation is about to celebrate its 241st birthday, and it's time to watch the glorious explosions we know as fireworks. Events in the Cincinnati area range from simple fireworks shows to day-long extravaganzas.

  • Independence Day Celebration on Fountain Square
  • Fountain Square provides nightly entertainment throughout the summer. At 10:00pm, experience a dazzling Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks display overtop of the square and Macy’s downtown store.

Tuesday, July 4

  • Ault Park Independence Day Celebration
  • A full day of family-friendly fun including: Children's Parade, Food, Festivities and Music. The event starts at 11 a.m. and concludes after the fireworks at 10 p.m.

  • Red, White and Blue Ash
  • Celebrate Independence Day in the northern suburb of Blue Ash with free entertainment starting at 4 p.m. and Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks at 10 p.m.

  • Fireworks at Kings Island
  • July 1-3 Kings Island's nightly fireworks display will be about 3 times as large as their usual 10 p.m. displays. On July 4th, the 10 p.m. show will be 10 times the size & scope of the traditional nightly fireworks display. The park stays open until midnight to enjoy even more thrills.
