New 64,000-square-foot center in Union Township will serve more than 100 students as well as their parents, caregivers and community members.

CINCINNATI, Ohio – August 26, 2019 – Equity, a full service commercial real estate firm offering services for every phase of the project lifestyle, is pleased to announce the completion of a 64,000-square-foot center to accommodate pre-school and school-age youth who have special education and mental health needs. Area youth with special needs will have a bright new start to the 2019-2020 school year thanks to the opening of The Child Focus, Inc. Charter Center for Educational Excellence at 4286 Wuebold Lane in Union Township, Ohio. Senior Vice President and Development Officer, Lee Jackson, made the announcement.

“This newly-renovated, state-of-the-art facility will sit on 8 acres with space for therapeutic and adaptive technologies, sensory rooms, a gymnasium, cafetorium, outdoor playground and garden space,” said Jackson. “This building will give area youth with special needs the support they need to develop skills to live life fully, and with confidence. Developing these facilities that have such a massive impact on the surrounding community is what we love to do most at Equity.”

Early in 2019, Equity’s Elaine Gillespie represented Child Focus when they signed a contract with Union Township Trustees for the purchase and renovation of the former Glen Este High School located in Clermont County, Ohio. This new facility will house Child Focus’ day treatment programs as well as programs from the Clermont County Educational Service Center. The spacious facility will offer a new opportunity for growth and expansion of mental health and educational programming in the years to come.

The Carter Center will follow the West Clermont school schedule and open its doors on August 28. For questions about the facility, contact Elaine at egillespie@equity.net or 513-253-3004. To learn more about Equity’s services, visit www.equity.net.
