Union Changes the Women Leadership Landscape

Women are actively engaged in working with real estate developers, local governments, and businesses to support activities that create jobs and leverage opportunities for the region. Join us for the free forum Breaking Through: Women Changing the Leadership Landscape Forum on Professional Leadership sponsored by Union Institute & University on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 starting at 5:30 p.m. Union is located at 440 East McMillan Street in Walnut Hills.

Hear from four women who followed a path to position themselves in leadership roles that will drive future growth within our region. The panel discussion will be moderated by Dr. Robin Martin, President / CEO Leading Beyond the Post Inc. Panelists include Laura N. Brunner, President / CEO, The PORT; Kimm Lauterbach, President / CEO, REDI Cincinnati; Margaret (Peg) Moertl, President / CEO, HCDC, Inc.; Jeanne Schroer, President / CEO, The Catalytic Fund.

UI&U created the forums to highlight the potential women have to transform the ‘business as usual’ mentality that is prominent in many communities. This is the third in a series of forums created to highlight women challenging the status quo and pushing beyond the limits and barriers in personal and professional settings.

“Women are becoming more present in the leadership landscape, but there is more work to be done. I invite all women and young ladies to join us to hear the inspirational stories of courageousness, commitment, and passion to step up and speak up in an effort to drive change,” said Dr. Rea Waldon, executive director of the Cincinnati Academic Center.
