Women’s Health Forum Announced

Top four diseases that impact the health of women and girls.

Union Institute & University will host Breaking Through: Women Changing the Leadership Landscape Forum on Women’s Health, Wednesday, October 17, 2018 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the university located at 440 East McMillan Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206. This session will focus on the top four diseases that impact the health of women and girls. We encourage you to bring your daughters to this session. Prominent panelists who have dedicated their careers to the healthcare industry will share their professional expertise as well as key health issues affecting women.

“I invite all women and young ladies to join us to hear the inspirational stories of courageousness, commitment, and passion to step up and speak up in an effort to drive change. Leaders will share their story of how she moved outside her comfort zone to stretch boundaries and transform communities,” said Dr. Rea Waldon, Executive Director of the Cincinnati Academic Center.

January 16, 2019 Professional Leadership – This session is focused on women who have the ability to impact the business and physical landscape of our region with the unique background and experiences they bring to the table. They serve as examples of how skills from one industry can be leveraged to serve effectively in another arena.

April 15, 2019 Social Investing – Focused on organizations that fund investments that impact the greater good for individuals and/or communities. This event will be held in partnership with the Ohio River Valley Women’s Business Council at the Sharonville Convention Center as part of the ORV-WBC Catch the Wave conference.
