Inaugural Sonic Temple Art + Music Fest Comes To MAPFRE Stadium

The lineup of bands is impressive. Foo Fighters, System of a Down and Disturbed are headlining the Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival.

COLUMBUS, OH — A new spring music festival with a new name is coming to Cbus in a few short weeks — the Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival will be bringing cutting-edge live acts and entertainment to MAPFRE stadium the weekend of May 17-19.

The lineup of bands and entertainment is impressive. Foo Fighters, System of a Down and Disturbed are headlining the Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival along with an incredible list of supporting acts such as Chevelle, The Hives, Joan Jett, The Cult, Lamb of God and many more will be performing for this 3-day festival. In addition to top-shelf live music, the festival will also feature comedy from Andrew Dice Clay and Pauly Shore along with a spoken word set by Henry Rollins in the SiriusXM Comedy & Spoken Word Tent.

According to a press release from Danny Wimmer Presents, the festival will feature a “premium food and beverage selection, art installations, plus expanded onsite experiences like never before to accompany a spectacular and diverse music lineup ...”

“I am so proud of what we accomplished with Rock On The Range, and we couldn’t have done it without our partnership with AEG,” Wimmer said. “When we started Rock On The Range, there was no other festival in America quite like it but recently it became clear that we had different visions of where to take the festival next. The city of Columbus and our devoted rock fans deserve a one-of-a-kind, world-class festival, and that is exactly what Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival will bring to MAPFRE Stadium.”
