1 Dead In Mall Shooting During Gun Show In Columbus
Gunfire rang out from the Westland Mall Shopping Center in Columbus Sunday afternoon.
COLUMBUS, OH — A Sunday afternoon shooting has been confirmed at the Westland Mall Shopping Center in Columbus. One person has been killed as a result of the gunfire, the Columbus Dispatch has reported.
The shooting was not considered an active shooter incident around 4:45 p.m. Sunday, an NBC-4 Columbus report citing Franklin County Sheriff's Office officials. The number of victims and their conditions was not known at the time.
A gun show was in progress at the mall at the time of the shooting, but initial reports have not said whether the shooting was related to the show.

NBC-4 has a livestream from the parking lot of the mall.
"Somebody came in the door, yelled, 'Shots fired!' and everybody started to scatter away from the door and heard a lot of gunfire outside," witness Jason Thiede told NBC-4.
