Nation's Leading Boutique Barre Studio Debuts in Polaris

Pure Barre Opens Columbus' First Polaris Location

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Pure Barre, the largest barre franchise in North America, opened its doors in Columbus on Jan. 9 with a grand opening celebration on Feb. 22-23. Located at 1513 Gemini Place, the new studio will offer members a low-impact, total-body workout using a ballet barre and small pulsing movements to strengthen the Columbus health and wellness community.

Pure Barre Polaris is owned and operated by Amanda and Nathan Bradish, who both graduated from Ohio State University (OSU) and have lived in Columbus for almost 10 years. Amanda has been a nurse at Nationwide Children’s Hospital since 2015 when she graduated from OSU and has always had a passion for health and fitness. While in college, Amanda frequently attended Pure Barre classes and continued to practice barre on DVD when she moved to the Polaris area and realized there wasn’t a Pure Barre nearby. Amanda began to miss the community aspect of barre and decided to combine her passion for the workout and experience in healthcare to open Polaris’ first Pure Barre.

“Barre is a low impact, high intensity workout that is safe on joints while also toning and strengthening your muscles,” said Amanda. “Any age and fitness level can benefit from barre because of its low impact. I’ve been waiting for Pure Barre to finally come to the Polaris area, so I’m excited to combine my passions and be the one to bring it to the neighborhood.”
