Ohio Connections Academy Recognizes Columbus Student
Star Student Award recognizes students for achievement in and out of the virtual classroom
Connor Williams of Columbus, was recently named one of Ohio Connections Academy’s (OCA) Star Students for the month of April in recognition of his academic achievements and leadership.
Connor, a Kindergarten student at the statewide online public charter school, was nominated by his teacher Ms. Percher in recognition of his positive attitude and the hard work he puts into his lessons every day. As a Star Student, Connor will be presented a certificate recognizing his achievement and be profiled in Ohio Connections Academy’s student newsletter and on the school’s website. Each month OCA recognizes two students in each of the four grade bands for their achievements in and out of the classroom.
Connor’s mother Virginia VanSchoyck said since his first day, they have liked everything about attending the online school, especially because of the time management skills it provides. She also appreciates the opportunity to be very involved in Connor’s education.
