Tornadoes, Large Hail Possible For Columbus

The National Weather Service has ​issued a hazardous weather outlook for central Ohio, including Franklin County and the surrounding area.

COLUMBUS, OH — Isolated tornadoes and large hail could be headed to Franklin county Monday. The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for central Ohio and the surrounding area, including Franklin County.

There will be thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening that could bring strong and damaging wind gusts, the agency said.

It's unlikely that widespread hazardous weather will continue beyond Monday night, the agency said.
