Classic Alt-Rock: Weezer, Pixies To Play Blossom
Could there be a better retro-rock night than this?

CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH – This year's outdoor season concluded only recently, but outdoor concerts already are in the works for 2018 and a big one was announced Thursday: Weezer and the Pixies will play Blossom Music Center on July 11.
Described by All Music as "Alt-rock dons who match hook-heavy power pop and doses of melodic metal with themes of awkwardness and geekdom," Weezer's hits include "Buddy Holly," "Undone - The Sweater Song," "Say It Ain't So," "Hash Pipe," and most recently "Feels Like Summer." Since Weezer's formation in 1992, the group has sold more than 17 million records worldwide.
The Pixies formed more than 30 years ago in Boston and became famous for mixing elements of noise pop, psychedelia and hard rock into their songs. They have been cited as influences to bands such as Weezer, Nirvana and Radiohead.
