Drunken Neighbor Mistaken for Burglar

A not-so-happy birthday

A 24-year-old Cuyahoga Falls woman got a disorderly conduct-intoxication charge for her birthday on Jan. 6. According to a police report, she was kicking a neighbors’ door and turning their door handle. They thought their Center Avenue home was being broken into. The call took place after 2 a.m.

On Jan. 6, a man living in the 400 block of Chestnut Boulevard reported that someone had taken his “fully-loaded” Craftsman toolbox and tool set from his garage in the past month. His estimated loss is about $550. There are no suspects.

Reported purse theft

A Cuyahoga Falls woman reported that someone took her purse with her wallet and other items inside while she was in the 4500 block of Quick Road on Jan. 6. The total value was about $50. There are no suspects.
