Election Day: Polls Are Open In Cuyahoga Falls

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio -- The Cuyahoga Falls General Election kicked off at 6:30 a.m. when polls opened across the city. Polls close at 7:30 p.m.

If you haven't had time to keep up with the latest Cuyahoga Falls candidates, ballot issues and races, a host of information can be found at Summit County's Board of Elections' Web site. The site allows voters to review election topics such as ballot topics and polling locations. Further, according to a press release posted on the Board's Web site, some Reminderville and Twinsburg polling locations have changed as a result of power outages. Find the updated locations here.

In Cuyahoga Falls and throughout Summit County, children participate, too. The Board of Elections Web site offers a Kids Vote section, which includes age-appropriate election activities, including a kids' ballot.

Finally don't forget, voters must bring identification to the polls in order to verify identity. Identification may include:

* A current, valid photo identification card such as a driver's license or state ID.
* A military identification.
* A copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document that shows the voter's name and current address.
