Wedding ring goes missing in Red Lobster

An Akron man told Cuyahoga Falls police he lost his wedding ring inside Red Lobster, 1090 Graham Road, the afternoon of March 23. The man took off his ring — which did not have a value listed on the Cuyahoga Falls police report — while inside the dining room and forgot to put it back on. 

Nearly $1,000 stolen from inside car

A Cuyahoga Falls woman said she left $980 inside her unlocked car while it was parked outside Drug Mart, 655 Portage Trail, and when she got back to her car about 2 p.m. March 22 she discovered the bag of money was gone.

Police received a call of malfunctioning railroad gates at Broad Boulevard about 4:30 p.m. March 23. The caller told police the gates had been down for longer than five minutes, causing inconvenience to motorists, and the whole time no train was in sight. 

Purse stolen from car on Tyler Avenue

A woman in the 100 block of Tyler Avenue told police someone entered her unlocked car and stole her purse containing $275, identification cards and credit cards. The theft took place about 12:30 a.m. March 23.

Prescription meds stolen from hospital

Someone stole several prescription medications, including 56 Xanax pills, from the Intensive Care Unit lobby of Summa Western Reserve, 1900 23rd St., between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. March 18. Total loss is $150.
