Ohio Connections Academy Recognizes Barberton Student
Star Student Award Recognizes Students for Achievement In and Out of the Virtual Classroom

Seth Butler of Barberton, Ohio was recently named one of Ohio Connections Academy’s (OCA) Star Students of the Month for January in recognition of his achievements and leadership in the virtual classroom.
Seth, a 1st grader with the statewide online public charter school, was nominated by his teacher Kara Corra for his positive attitude and the hard work he puts into his daily lessons as he often goes beyond what is required. As a Star Student, Seth will be presented a certificate recognizing his achievement and be profiled in Ohio Connections Academy’s student newsletter and on the school’s website.
Seth came to Ohio Connections Academy in 2017 in search of an alternative academic environment that would enable him to work at his own pace. According to Seth, he likes the interactive programs like LiveLessons that make learning fun.
