Pickpocket Grabs Wallet; Counterfeit $50s: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

A woman told police she was the victim of a pair of pickpockets at Barnes and Noble June 25.

The victim said she was in the vestibule leaving the store about 4:30 p.m. when two men distracted her. One blocked the door, forcing her to use a different door.

As she did, the other man took the wallet from her purse. She realized later what had happened.

Fake Fifties

Lowe's reported June 24 that a couple who paid cash for $650 worth of power tools scammed the store.

A report said the bank later determined the $50 bills were counterfeit.

Little Items, Big Bucks

Someone made off with 68 mini keychain sanitizer holders from Bath and Body Works June 27, a report said.

They were in two bowls on a table in the rear of the store.

They were valued at $435.
