Summit Mall Hosts Lil' Chefs Event

From Summit Mall: Bring the family and roll up your sleeves for Summit Mall's Lil' Chefs Family Event on Saturday, June 10th from 11:30a.m. to 1:00p.m.

At the Lil’ Chefs Family Event, sponsored by Akron Children’s Hospital, children and their families will learn how to work together, produce family-friendly meals and enjoy their creations. The event is free to attend and will feature dough-throwing demonstrations from Dewey’s Pizza and pretzel rolling from Auntie Anne’s.

“Kids can be the pickiest eaters,” said Heather Taylor, director of marketing and business development at Summit Mall. “Summit Mall is hosting this event to help them gain an appreciation for food and grow an interest in spending time with their families in the kitchen making it.”
