All Aboard! The Kent Jaycees To Host The Polar Express Dec. 9, 10

KENT, OH -- All aboard! The Kent Chamber of Commerce is selling tickets for its annual Polar Express event at the Kent Jaycee Train Car, Saturday, Dec. 9 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Cost is $15, and registration is required. (Parents and friends must register as well.) Tickets can be purchased online at the Kent Jaycees Web site. Participants are invited to wear pajamas and climb aboard The Polar Express for a Christmas adventure.

The annual event is sponsored by the Kent Junior Chamber of Commerce. Guests on board the magical train will savor hot cocoa and cookies, while listening and reading along to Chris Van Allsburg’s classic tale, "The Polar Express." All participants will complete a Christmas craft, receive a photo with Santa and a gift as well.
