Election Day: Polls Are Open In Kent
Polls opened at 6:30 a.m. and will close at 7:30 p.m. Kent residents can find voter information online.

KENT, Ohio -- The Portage County General Election is underway. Polls opened at 6:30 a.m. and will close at 7:30 p.m.
If you haven't had time to keep up with the latest Kent, Ohio candidates, ballot issues and races, a host of information can be found at Portage County's Board of Elections' Web site. The site allows voters to review election topics such as ballot ballot topics, candidates, issues and polling locations by address and precinct. For Aurora residents, poll location changes are posted as well.

Finally don't forget, voters must bring identification to the polls in order to verify identity. Identification may include:
- A current, valid photo identification card such as a driver's license or state ID.
- A military identification.
- A copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document that shows the voter's name and current address.
