Someone cut through a chain link fence and then disabled the vehicle's lock before driving the Humvee out of an armory.

STOW, OH - A military Humvee was stolen from the Ohio National Guard Armory in Stow, Ohio on March 22, police say. There were no witnesses to the theft, the Ohio State Highway Patrol says.

The OSHP says they were called to the Armory, 4630 Allen Rd., on March 22 at 3:30 p.m. for reports of the theft. Troopers at the Armory discovered that someone cut through the chain link fence surrounding the armory and entered the secured area where the Humvee was stored.

The Humvee was locked at the time of the theft but the suspect disabled the locking mechanism and drove the vehicle off of the premises. The vehicle is marked on the bumper with the number 174 and 1-145 near the tail light and HQ-51 near the right tail light.
