The vice president for health affairs and dean of the College of Medicine roles are critical to the University. Despite continued reductions in funding from the state and an ever-changing health care landscape, Dr. Young offers a strategic vision for health affairs that will support the transformation necessary for sustainability and growth, while keeping medical education affordable. A core component of her vision is her value proposition for enhancing NEOMED’S unique relationships with its clinical and university partners.

“Dr. Young is the right leader at the right time for our College of Medicine,” said Dr. Gershen. “She is an outstanding leader, a strong clinician, and a dedicated teacher and mentor.”
