New Social Media App Guides You to the Best Christmas Light Displays

If you’re like a lot of people, one of your favorite holiday adventures is to go out cruising to find amazing Christmas light displays in your area.

In the past, this activity always has been reliant on good word-of-mouth information about where to go, or just pure dumb luck.

A new social media app is addressing that limitation by telling you where to find Christmas light displays, Christmas tree lots, Santa sightings, “places to five back,” and attractions and events.

The free app featuring the “Holiday Cheer Map” is available “in more than 70 Cleveland neighborhoods,” according to a report Saturday on Fox 8 Cleveland.

Users of the app can add their own attractions to the map.

According to creators of the app, ““No matter how you’re celebrating the holidays this season, Nextdoor’s Holiday Cheer map is the insider’s guide to the most festive spots not only in your area. And the holidays will certainly be merry and bright this year, since the spots are curated by those who know the area best: your neighbors.”

Available on both iPhone and Android, the app is free to download.
