30th Anniversary of LCAC = More than 150,000 Turkeys Delivered!

Save these dates and join LCAC for as little or as much time as you can give. This is a great service project for all ages!

Since 1988, when a group of dedicated volunteers formed Lakewood Charitable Assistance Corp, LCAC has annually provided 600 Holiday Food Baskets for Lakewood families and senior citizens in need. This neighborhood tradition is only possible with the support of the entire community. Volunteers of all ages are needed! Here’s how you can help:

Share your gifts of food and fortune…

Non-perishable food items will be collected for the Thanksgiving food drive from November 5th – 15th by students at the following schools in Lakewood: Harding Middle School, Hayes Elementary School, Horace Mann Elementary School, and St. Ed’s High School. Non-perishable items can also be dropped off at Lakewood Hardware until November 15th.

Once the food is collected, scores of volunteers are needed to sort, package and deliver the Thanksgiving fixings and food staples. Save these dates and join LCAC for as little or as much time as you can give. This is a great service project for all ages!
