Armed Carjackers Steal Car In Lakewood
Police said they have been unable to find the stolen car or the suspects.

LAKEWOOD, OH — A person was carjacked at gunpoint in Lakewood on Thursday.
At 1:20 p.m., a 911 caller said two men stole his car while he was on Beach Avenue, just north of Detroit Avenue.
The caller said he was in his garage when two men approached him, flashed a handgun and demanded the man's car keys. He handed over his keys and the suspects drove off in his car.

The caller was not hurt during the carjacking, police said.
Lakewood police searched the area but did not find the stolen car, a department spokesperson said.

The stolen vehicle is a black 2013 Honda Civic with an Ohio license plate reading FXH9238. The car was last seen leaving Lakewood and going south on W. 117th Street, near Madison Avenue.
