Beck Center Plans $5.7M Capital Campaign To Fund Renovations
The 85-year-old campus needs updates, so Beck Center officials are launching a fundraising campaign.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The Beck Center for the Arts announced a $5.7 million capital campaign this week. The public phase will begin with a campaign rally on Tuesday, March 10 at the Beck's Main Gallery.
The rally, called "Raise the Roof," will start at 6:30 p.m. Festivities include a reception, a short presentation and renderings of the upcoming campus projects. The rally is open to anyone interested in learning about the capital campaign and what's happening at the Beck Center.
Planned renovations include an updated and expanded entryway, better access to classrooms for students of all ages and abilities and more restrooms. There are also plans to convert the Armory building to a Center for Music and Creative Arts Therapies and to improve the existing performance space. The capital campaign will also fund a new Center for Dance Education in the main building, with four studio spaces.
