Burning River Roller Derby Art Auction Coming To Lakewood

From BRRD: Burning River Roller Derby (BRRD) invites you to attend its annual art auction fundraiser!

In collaboration with many local artists, Stay Classy, Cleveland: Art Auction Fundraiser to Benefit Burning River Roller Derby reception and silent auction will take place on Friday, June 7th, 2019 from 7–11 p.m. at The Good Goat Gallery, 17012 Madison Ave., Lakewood, Ohio, 44107.

A silent auction will feature artwork created especially for this event by local artists and current and past members of BRRD. The artwork ranges in style, medium, and theme. Dance, drink, and bid on your favorite pieces. Music and entertainment by DJ Bonk. Light refreshments will be provided and drink tickets will be available for purchase (ID required). Admission is free for all ages.

Proceeds from the auction will directly benefit Burning River Roller Derby, Cleveland’s premier flat track roller derby league. BRRD is owned and operated by skaters, referees, and volunteers who provide athletic training and public gaming opportunities for Northeast Ohio.
BRRD's operating revenue is based on member dues, sales from public bouts, sponsorships, and fundraisers. All revenue goes directly toward rental space, training, and bout production; all league operations are performed by volunteers. The league is a member of the international Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).
