Cove Park Renovation Update [PHOTOS]

The Cove Park renovation is almost complete and includes many great additions.

LAKEWOOD, OH — While not completely finished, you can now take a look around Cove Park and see the completed renovations and ones that are still in progress.

Upgrades to Cove Park were needed as the park scored a C- — the lowest score in a rating of the city's parks inventory in the Parks Strategic Plan and analysis.

The walking path around the perimeter of Cove Park is completed and all new playground equipment has been installed. The new playground equipment is nice, much like the new equipment at Lakewood Park. Parking surfaces have also been improved. The community gardens and old tree growth at Cove Park have been preserved.
