'Dance Skate Dream' Coming to Serpentini Arena

A dance and figure skating show spectacular is coming to Lakewood.

Skate Dance Dream will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 7 p.m. at the Serpentini Arena. 

The event will showcase 2014 Olympic figure skating hopefuls including: 2011 U.S. Figure Skating Men’s Silver Medalist & World Team member, Richard Dornbush; 2012 Junior Grand Prix Final Silver Medalist, Hannah Miller; and U.S. Figure Skating Men’s Competitor, Sean Rabbitt.

Gev Manoukian, a season four Top 10 finalist from Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance," is also scheduled to perform.

Star cast is subject to change.

Joining the stars will be over 100 of the best local dancers and figure skaters, including The Dance Centre by Heidi Glynias and the Winterhurst Learn-to-skate program.

Skate Dance DreamTM is a show production experience that blends figure skating and dance. The show gives local aspiring skaters and dancers the chance of a lifetime: performing with the stars that they see on television.

Over the course of our show weekends, participants can attend meet & greets, seminars, workshops and rehearsals with the Stars, all culminating with the performance in the show right alongside their heroes.
