Easter Bunny Coming To Lakewood Chocolate Shop
Fear's Confections will host the big bunny on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. The Bunny will have free treats for kids.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Fear's Confections will host a special guest on Saturday: the one and only Easter Bunny. It's the first time the shop has been able to land a meet-and-greet with the Spring-time celebrity and families are encouraged to come out and spend time with the big guy.
From noon to 3 p.m. the Easter Bunny will have treats to give out to kids (though it's unclear what those treats will be yet). There won't be a professional photographer on-hand, but anyone can take a selfie or photo with the Easter Bunny for $5. Half of all proceeds from the event go to the Domestic Violence and Child Advocacy Center.
Booking a session with the Easter Bunny wasn't easy. Cassandra Fear needed a little bit of luck to get the Easter Bunny to her shop.

Less than two weeks ago, the owner of Fear's Confections realized she had never brought the big bunny into her chocolate shop. She wanted to change that.
She took to social media and asked her friends "How does one get an Easter Bunny?"A friend recommended a costume rental place and one of Fear's friends offered to don the suit and play the role. With less than 14 days before Easter, Fear figured there was no way she'd actually be able to rent a costume.

She was wrong. Now, she's planning for a Saturday afternoon Easter Bunny session at Fear's Confections.
"I'm still making it up as a I go along," she said, laughing. "I did not think I would get my hand on an Easter Bunny suit."
As with any seasonal celebration, Fear is planning a handful of special candies.
"I’m actually piping bunny butts. We do regular Easter bunnies, zombie bunnies, which we hand make to make look like undead Easter bunnies," she told Patch. "We do crosses and lamb pops and all the usual things."
That's right! The Easter Bunny will be hopping in to Fear's Confections this Saturday from noon-3! All ages are welcome! We won't have a photographer, but selfies/cell photos will be $5 and half of the proceeds will benefit the DVCAC (Domestic Violence and Child Advocacy Center)! Each child will also get a treat from The Easter Bunny, and parents - you can get some Easter basket shopping done! More details to come!
