Edgewater Shooting: 36-Year-Old Killed, Another Hurt
Two men were shot during an armed robbery in the Edgewater neighborhood of Cleveland.
CLEVELAND — A 36-year-old was shot to death in Cleveland's Edgewater neighborhood on Friday, police announced.
At 3:15 a.m., callers reported hearing gunshots on Detroit Avenue. Officers learned that a 42-year-old man and a 36-year-old man had been driven to MetroHealth Medical Center following a shooting.
The 36-year-old had been shot multiple times in the chest. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The 42-year-old had been shot in the arm.
Police believe both the 42-year-old and 36-year-old were robbed at gunpoint and tried to run away. The suspect fired at them and both men were hit. Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit took over the investigation.
